How to Automatically Send Birthday Messages in Hona

Step 1: Navigate to Reputation Settings

  1. Log into your Hona account.

  2. In the left-side menu, scroll down to Company Settings.

  3. Click on Reputation.

Step 2: Create Your Birthday Message

  1. Locate the Birthday Message section.

  2. Type the message you’d like your clients to receive in the provided text box.

    • You can personalize the message using placeholders like {{client_first_name}}.

    • Example: "Happy Birthday {{client_first_name}}! We hope you have an amazing day!"

Step 3: Enable and Customize Filters

  1. Toggle the Birthday Message setting to Enabled.

  2. Use filters to refine which clients receive birthday messages based on:

    • Project Status (In Progress, Complete, Not Started)

    • Hona Enabled (Yes/No)

    • Project Types (Select specific types or apply to all)

Step 4: Save and Let Hona Handle the Rest!

Once enabled, Hona will automatically send birthday messages to your clients based on the settings you configured.
