Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log into your Hona Project Dashboard

  • Start by signing in to your Hona account and going to your project dashboard page

2. Select Your Recipients

  • Click the Filter button to choose the group you want to message.

  • If you want to message every client at the firm, simply click the checkbox next to “Contact.”

3. Click "Actions" > "Send Mass Message"

  • After selecting your recipients, click the green Actions button, then select Send Mass Message.

4. Choose Send Time

  • You can send your message immediately or schedule it to be sent later.

5. Write Your Message

  • Type your message in the text box.

  • Tip: Click the “Pipe Text” button to automatically insert the client's first and or last name!

6. Use Templates or Attach Files

  • Click the text box with the plus (+) sign to insert a pre-made template.

  • You can also attach images or files to your message.

7. Review and Send

  • Before sending, make sure to check the “Avoid Duplicates” box.
(This ensures that if the same phone number is used in multiple projects, the message will only send once.)

Other Helpful Tips

  • View Sent or Scheduled Mass Messages:
Go to the Mass Messages sub-tab under Messages to view messages that are Sent, Queued, Processing, Delivered, Failed, or Scheduled.

  • Cancel a Scheduled Message:
Scroll to the bottom of the Mass Messages page.
Find the message you want to cancel, click the three dots on the right, and select “Cancel Request.”

  • Send to Just One Client:
You can also use the Mass Messaging feature to send a scheduled message to a single client if needed!

Example Use Case: Holidays

Send a mass message to wish your clients Happy Holidays or notify them of updated holiday office hours.
