Events (Calendar)

The Events section in Hona shows all your scheduled events tied to projects

Where to Find It

  1. Go to the left menu.

  2. Click Calendar, then choose Events.


What You’ll See

Each event includes:

  • Title – The name of the event.

  • Time Until – How much time is left until the event starts.

  • Start Time – The date and time the event begins.

  • Duration – How long it lasts.

  • Project – The case or project it's connected to.

  • Client Attendees – Any clients added to the event.

  • Staff Attendees – Any team members added.


Filters & Search

Use the tools at the top to:

  • Choose a Start Date and End Date.

  • Search by title to find specific events.

  • Click the filter icon to apply more options.


Adding Events

Click the + icon in the top right to add a new event.


Editing an Event

To edit an existing event, click on it in the event list. You’ll be able to update the following:

  • Project: Select or change the case the event is tied to.

  • Event Type: Choose from a previously created Event type, or choose None.

  • Title: Update the event name.

  • Start/End Date and Time: Adjust the scheduled time.

  • Timezone: Make sure the correct timezone is selected for the client.

  • Attendees: Add or remove clients and staff.

  • Location: Specify where the event will take place.

  • Description: Provide any extra details or instructions.

  • Reminders: Add or edit reminder times (e.g., 1 day, 2 hours, 30 minutes before the event).

  • Language: Set the language for reminders and messages.

  • Text Notification Preview: This section shows what clients will receive in their reminder messages.

To save changes, click Save. To remove the event, click Delete in the bottom left.

If there are many events, use the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom to scroll through them.
