Lead Types are configured exactly like Project Types, the only difference is where the two are built in your Hona Org. Because Lead Types are specific to Leads they live in the Leads tab, while Project Types are specific to Clients and are found in the Company Settings tab.
To create a new Lead Type, open your side-bar in Hona and select Leads → Lead Types. Follow the instructions in How to Build a Project Type to build your Lead Type.
