Learn how to view your account information/settings, configure 2-factor authentication (2fa), and configure your notification preferences

Configure 2fa

This is where you can configure 2-factor authentication for your Hona login. The first thing you'll need to do is download an authenticator app on your phone (e.g. Authy, Google Authenticator, etc.).

Once the authenticator app is downloaded, click "Configure 2fa" and use the app to scan the QR Code. You should now have an authentication code for Hona in your app.

Copy the current authentication code into Hona, click Verify Code, and you're all set! From here on out, every time you log in you'll be prompted to enter the 2fa code.

Two-Way Message Notification Settings (With a Project)

Here you'll be able to set up your notifications for inbound messages to your Hona SMS number. There are 4 types of notifications you can set up for your account:

In-App Notifications

  • Badge Icon on the Hona Chrome Extension and in the company app

Email (Immediate)

  • Receive an email notification for new inbound messages

Daily Digest

  • Receive a daily email digest with all unread messages

Weekly Digest

  • Receive a weekly email digest with all unread messages

How to use Filters to Personalize Notifications

You can filter notifications so you only receive them:

  • Where I am the Primary Contact

    • Only get notifications when you're the primary contact on the project

  • Where I have specific Role(s)

    • Only receive notifications when you have a specific role on the project

    • Roles can be set up in Company Settings - Team section

    • From the dropdown, you can select multiple roles to receive notifications.

  • All Projects

    • Receive a notification every time your Hona SMS number receives a message, regardless of whether you're associated with the project

  • Where I am on the Team

    • Receive a notification any time there is an inbound message for a project where you're part of the team

Two-Way Message Notification Settings (Without a Project)

If you have any inbound leads that aren't tied to a current project, you can customize the notification preferences within this section.

Form Submitted

You can choose to receive email notifications when a Hona form has been successfully submitted by toggling that option on/off.
