Creating a lead in Litify

In Litify, the default object used to track leads are called Intakes. Intakes are associated with Accounts. In order to create leads in Litify when they are created in Hona, users can attach their Form Responses to a Litify: Create Intake action using a Custom Automation.

In order for this action to appear, users will need to have an integration of type salesforceLeads , otherwise the option won’t appear.

Once an Automation has been created, you can then configure the action of "Litify: Create Intake"

When configuring the action, users can add or remove as many fields as they would like. They can dynamically set fields either on the “Intake” or on the “Client” object. (called Client in the Litify UI but actually an Account).

Field Types

Our system will automatically pull in all the fields that are available and can be edited on the objects. Field types are important when creating objects in Litify: if an incorrect value is given, the Intake will not be created.

  • Case Type: This is an ID field— typing the name of the Case Type will not work. Users will need to pass the Litify IDs of the corresponding case type, which can be found on the Active Case Type pages by using Settings > Select Fields to Display and selecting Record ID.

  • Party Name: This is the entire name of the Client/Party. This value can be passed as a string.

  • Last Name: In addition to the Party Name, “Last Name” is a minimum required field. This can also be passed a a string.

When adding new fields to a mapping, make sure you know the field type and are mapping appropriate data in. Note that if Litify IDs are needed, users can either pull those IDs in as custom fields on a project or create a “value” mapping in their form to transform multiple-choice responses on a form into a specific Litify value.
