Hona gives Admins full control to reset user passwords directly—eliminating the need to rely on support. Whether a user is locked out, missed their welcome email, or can’t receive email at all, Admins can take immediate action from the Company Settings > Team page.
Where to Find the Reset Password Option
On the Company Settings > Team page, you’ll see a Reset Password button in a column next to the right each user. Clicking this button opens a modal tailored to the user’s current account status.
What Happens When You Click "Reset Password"
The modal uses smart logic to determine what options are available based on the user's status:
For Confirmed Users
Admins can create a new permanent password on the spot.No email is sent.
The modal clearly communicates that this is a direct password change—ideal for secure handoff or users without email access.
For Unconfirmed Users (never changed their initial password)
Admins can resend the welcome email, which now includes:A new temporary password
A reset expiration period, allowing the user more time to activate their account
Every action triggers a success or error notification to confirm what happened.
