How to download and use the Hona Chrome Extension

How to set up the Hona Chrome Extension

  1. Click here to add the Hona Chrome extension

  2. Once it’s added, open up one of your cases in your customer relationship manager (CRM). You should see a floating tab with the Hona logo on the right-hand side

  3. Click on the tab to open the associated Hona project for this file

    1. If you haven't already, the extension will prompt you to sign into your account

How to Use the Hona Chrome Extension

When you’re in your Case Management Software, open up any of your files and look on the right side of the screen. You should see a floating tab with the Hona logo on it.

Click on the tab to see your 2-Way Messaging with that client as well as project details/actions you can take. If you do not have 2-Way Messaging, the Details page will be the first page that shows.

Actions

  • Sync Updates

    • Use this action to sync updates from FV into Hona. Hona will automatically sync with FV every night, but this is here in case you need to sync new information into Hona ASAP

  • Send Message

    • Use this to schedule a message for a future date or choose which communication method(s) are used to send the message to the client (i.e. email, sms, both, etc.)

  • Send Current Notification

    • Use this if a client can’t find the link to access their portal, it will send the most recent case update notification as laid out in Hona

  • Send Form

    • Use this to send a Hona Form to the client. For more information on forms, more information can be found HERE:

  • Request Review

    • Use this to send the client a request to leave a review for the firm

  • Create New Event

    • Use this feature to create events and set automated reminders for your clients

    • For Example: If you have the client scheduled to come into the office for a meeting, use this feature to easily created the event and schedule reminders for a day before and one hour before the scheduled time

Sections of the Hona Chrome Extension

  • Details

    • This page will show you some key information about the client's Hona file. Refer to this section to see the Client's:

      • Current Notification Preference

      • Total number of logins

      • Last Login Date/Time

      • Last Notification from Hona

  • Messages (Add-On)

    • If you have 2-Way Messaging, use this section to view conversation history, send/receive messages and files, and create message templates

  • Files

    • This section will show a consolidated view of all files that have been sent/received with the client

  • Activity

    • This section will show all activity that has happened with the client since they were first synced with Hona.

    • Activities can include phase change messages, drip notifications, Form assignments and submissions, events, and messages

  • Team

    • See a full list of all the team members that are currently displaying to the client within the Team section in their portal

  • Review

    • View all NPS submissions and the client's average NPS score, as well as the client's final review

  • Forms (Add-On)

    • See every Form that has been assigned to the client, as well as which ones have been Archived, are in progress, haven't been started, or have been completed

    • You can also open each Form on this page to see the current status and any questions that have been filled out/answered

  • Events

    • View all currently scheduled Events and past events that have been created for this client/file.

    • Add the events to your Calendar via the "Add to Calendar" dropdown, or get the public calendar URL in the Event Settings to sync all events for this file to your calendar
