Notification Timing

  • Daily Sync: Hona runs a nightly data sync at 12:00 AM (midnight) PST.

  • Delivery Window: Automated notifications are sent out the following business day after the sync at 8 AM PST unless otherwise configured in Company Settings>Company Info using the Company Timezone & Notification Settings.

  • No Weekend Automated Messages: Automated Notifications are not delivered on Saturdays or Sundays, even if changes occur on those days. Updates made over the weekend will be queued for delivery on Monday. (Text Messages will send as usual)

Phase Mapping and Message Behavior

  • Mapped Phases- Notifications are tied to the phases that are mapped in Project Types.

  • Unmapped Phase Behavior: If you move a case to a phase that doesn't contain mapping the case will:

    • Remain in the last valid mapped phase

    • Continue receiving drip notifications associated with that prior phase

Project Toggles and Controls

Within each project, you can enable or disable specific types of notifications:

  • New Project Notification Toggle: Controls whether a message is sent when a case is first created in the project.

  • Phase Change Notification Toggle: Controls whether clients receive messages when their case moves into a new phase.

Archived Cases

  • When a case is archived, it is excluded from all future automations and notifications.

  • This ensures that clients associated with closed cases do not receive unintended messages.
