The Exports feature is only available for Hona Engage- Elite customers. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you would like to upgrade your access.
How to Access Exports
Go to the Reports section from the left-side menu.
Click on the Exports tab to view a list of all generated reports.
Each row in the list represents an export that has been created. The table provides helpful reference details about each export:
Name – Auto-generated file name with data type and date range
Source – Type of data exported (e.g., Messages, Reviews)
Status – Indicates if the export is still downloadable (Completed), expired, or generating. If it is still generating you will see the status of Running
Created By – Team member who generated the export
Created At – Timestamp of when the export was initiated
Size – File size (when available)
Download – Link to download the export file (if still active)
Note: The table does not display the exported data directly—it just tracks who created the report, when it was created, and what it contains. To view the data, download the file from the Download column.
Exports are available for 30 days from the time of creation. After that, they will show as Expired and must be regenerated.
Creating a New Export
To generate a new export:
Click + New Export at the top right.
In the pop-up window:
Select Source – Choose the type of data you want to export (Projects, Notifications, Messages, etc.).
Set Date Range – Use the date pickers to choose a “Created After” and “Created Before” range.
Click Generate New to start the export process.
Your export will be added to the list and marked as Completed when ready. Exports will always be created in a .csv format.

Projects
Notifications
Messages
Mass Messages
Users
Contacts
Reviews
NPS
Linking with Domo
To integrate your Hona exports with Domo:
Click the Link with Domo button in the top right corner.
Fill in the following fields:
Synchronization Frequency – How often the data should sync with Domo
Domo Client ID – Provided by your Domo admin
Domo Client Secret – Provided by your Domo admin
Once all fields are filled, click Connect to enable the integration.
Your data will now automatically sync with Domo based on the frequency you selected.
